Tori D'Amelio
Tori D’Amelio is an 18 year old singer-songwriter who is taking the Southern California music scene by storm. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Tori relocated to Orange County, California in 2006. With her heart-felt lyrics, infectious personality and boundless energy on and off the stage, Tori is definitely someone to watch. Hailing from a large family of music lovers, Tori’s appreciation for all types of music developed at an early age. Growing up, Tori was introduced to a wide range of music and fell in love with bands like Jimmy Eat World, Blink-182, Foo Fighters and New Found Glory.
When she was 15, she found an old guitar and taught herself how to play, naming that as “the moment that changed everything.” Tori began collaborating and doing vocals for local bands, as well as actively singing at church. It was around this time when Tori really discovered her passion for songwriting, playing guitar for hours on end, messing around with effects pedals and amps and writing songs in her bedroom all night, sometimes even abandoning sleep in the pursuit of songwriting. Mixing Alternative, Pop and Indie-Rock with an earnest singer-songwriter vibe, Tori has received an overwhelming response to her music. With soaring guitar lines and melodic, catchy choruses that you just can’t help but sing along to, Tori definitely has a bright future with big things in store.
